Author's E2K: July 2004
Welcome to the July 2004 edition of Net Author's E2K. This is also the last issue of Net Author's E2K. If you've been following our recent events, you'll have noticed that we've undergone a few changes. Those changes have, unfortunately, not rescued us. After nearly five years of service, Net Author has reached the end of its funding and staffing resources. Without an infusion of both, the journal simply can't continue. Because we see no real change in either of those conditions on the horizon, we thought we'd make this "last" issue a rich one and, so to speak, go out with a bang. This issue is, therefore, going to take more than a few minutes to read, so grab a cup of your favorite beverage and make yourself comfortable. There's probably more here than you want to read in one sitting, so take the time to enjoy it; come back to it when you're ready for your next installment, and let yourself linger, feel, see, and taste the works here the same way you would that last piece of cheesecake. We hope you enjoy the works in this edition of the journal as much as we have, and wish you the very best in your writing endeavors.
